 Post subject: HELP IN MONTANA! looking for day trips from Billings

Moved here to billings MT a year ago and just rode the resorts last year. Any splitters here in Billings looking for some company, or at least willing to show me some routes on a map??? Anyone here on SB.com have any experience in the Beartooths (not by cooke city though, too far for a day trip), and the Big Horns? Just looking for day trips from that are less than 2 hrs driving from billings. Any help would be great, thanks.

I don't have tons of experience out that way but could point you to a few good ski-mountaineering objectives out of the lake fork/rock creek drainages. I'll probably be headed there in the spring as well...

skin to whitetail peak, set up tent, stay for 7-10 days. repeat as necessary.
