I'm new to the south lake Tahoe area and recently got stoked with a new mojorx. I am a resort rider with little experience in the snow backcountry. I am a good hiker, love the woods and am a solid rider. Need someone who is willing to spend a little time with me to get comfy with terrain and skills.

I'm a newbie too. I want to explore around kirkwood, what do you have in mind? Have you taken an intro avalanche course and have a beacon, probe and shovel?

I am super newbie, but have spent time in snowless backcountry. I have gone out once on a spitboard, I know basics with beacon, don't own one, but can use one. I have shovel, probe and common sense, no avalanche courses as of yet. Isabel
