Well that was one of the coolest things I've seen in a while! Had to wait til I got home so I could watch it on the big screen and do it justice. Especially enjoyed the backcountry footage from the Teton Crest etc...
Stunning work. I can't even imagine how much time and effort went into making that 4.5 min clip. The clips with the stars and milky-way is simply amazing. Your camera can really capture all that? Unreal, thank you for sharing.
Thanks for all the nice words. A time consuming hobby for sure. A lot of sleepless nights. I use Nikon DSLRs. Mostly a Nikon D200 until I saved up enough pennies to upgrade to the D800 this last spring. The high ISO performance is a must for starscapes. I mainly use a 14-24mm or 24mm prime lens. I built a custom dolly and pan tilt head for the motion shots. Stoked you guys like it!
