super sweet riding, and such a sweet location. Idaho is a cool spot.
It get a chuckle seeing that this is a splitboard site, but however you want to get up... get after it.

Just sharing the backcountry stoke. I too get a chuckle out of it, only trying to show that there is another option out there. Keep it off your back...like my buddy Neil Provo here:

Well it would be tough to get the harness to you from your board, I'm not sure you would attach it. I think you would also find it hard to strap stuff in, and also, the board would be way more side to side washy then a sled. I'd stick to a sled.
Zude, Yes, for overnights i have used my board as a sled for my tent, bag, food etc... I have retractable fins that i got from JG at Burton years ago. They were developed for riding pow but are supper sketchy as you can imagine. Anyway, they work great for keeping your board tracking straight when you're towing it. Then when you're ready to shred you just unscrew them and retract the fins. I use a rope with a wingnut attachment to hook on the tip of the board (part of the edgy-wedgy from my kids learn to ski days).
Anyway, it works well and it lets me take my little friend (snowboard) with me. Peace.
Nice, this looks like a simple solution, maybe i can rig up something similar. I've got some long approaches via x-country skis in mind. Strapping the gear on the board would still take some thinking , I've got some old dry bags from my river-daz that will work to keep it all dry.

The riding looks fun, the carrying a board on your back, not so much. These things are such a step in the wrong direction. Just what I want, more shit to carry on my back. Booting up a couloir? Now you get to carry skis AND a board! What fun! All for the low price of.... wait a minute.... $800 bucks!?!?
The theme "Keep it Together" is also retarded. Can anyone honestly say that they could not have ridden any of that terrain exactly the same with a splitboard?
Dude... come on man.... Idarado is just posting some stoke. Your negative banter is a unwanted move. We have enough douches in this world.
Be a good guy... not a douche guy.
However people want to go up... is up to them.
