Polar Night (mørketid) Splitboarding/skiing from Northern Norway, Troms.

That was nice but the vid looks distorted (I watched it on Vimeo). It seems like 4:3 footage (say 1280x960 video) was squished into a 16:9 (1280x720) format. Makes everything look short and squat.

I have filmed it in contour tall 1280 x 960, but maybe my powerdirector 9 compress it in 1280x720 format. I have to check if I can change it some how. Thanks for feedpack!

Vimeo will accept 1280x960 (4:3, or 'standard') formats. I shoot and upload in that size often. You may have to specify custom dimensions when you export out of your program since everything is assumed to be 'HD' (16:9) nowadays. You will notice that your video has black bars above and below the video image (called letterbox). If the video were allowed to fill those areas, it would not be distorted.

Vimeo is not my problem now. Problem is powerdirector 9 what doesn`t have 1280x960 option. That sucks and I hope they fix it soon.
