With Avalanche levels stabilizing somewhat for the day we decided to do a tour out near the silver basin, One problem though ski patrol was heli bombing the area and wouldn't let anyone through. We changed plans and went out to East peak area instead. When summiting the Cement basin was calling us so after cutting the slope we made 3 epic laps then finished it off with a frontside run down East Peak straight down to the parking lot.

I've been wanting to get to Crystal for a long time now. Anyone of you guys show me around if I decided to drive up there some day?

Is this before the rain or have you escaped the flood?

Not to speak for Kyle on his TR, but those were before the rain. Passes and Ski areas are all still closed because of the rain. Although it now seems to be snowing up there so hopefully we'll recover soon.
