Its Volcano Season once again out here in the pacific Northwest.
St Helens is the smallest of the Volcanoes out here in Wa summiting at around 8'300 feet ( The eruption in 80 took off over 1'000 feet).

Our original plan was to do a multiday trip but someone forgot there sleeping bag so that changed objective. So here is the T.R.

We arrived at a deadend spot in the road around 1 A.M. and noticed another car parked instead of started in the dark we decided to take a nap. The next morning we started talking to the other group which were two guys from Jackson Hole. Kiel was a skier and Reed was on tele gear, they just decided to ski a volcano on there roadtrip heading North so they made a bipass to St. Helens. We decided to stick together as a group so our party of three turned into 5 (4 skinning 1 snowshoeing). The road was buried at around 2,200 feet and we were going to have to skin up the road for over 6 miles.
