quit changing the names on us...what happened to Sheppard's peak? Does that exist near Sheep Lake? Loom and I returned to Chinook environs on Sunday and went S,SE and rode peak 65677...do you know if this has a local reference name at all? Did you guy's access from Crystal or the pass?

Tophervw, yes Sheppards is in the same basin as Sheep Lake. The peak you speak of/rode...is it lookers left or right from Sourdough Gap? Yes we have a name for everything out there.

While Chinook Pass is open the access is easier. Once closed I frequent these areas via Crystal.

The peak Topher is talking about is this one from my earlier TR, the one I called "wimp-out" peak. It is labeled 6567T on topo (ending in 7T not 77 from what I can tell). Edub is calling it "Hanson". Where'd he get that name from? Perhaps Topher struggling to tell him where we were during a phone call from the top? lol
