I took advantage of the weather window much like the rest of the PNW folks this weekend. Clear but pretty warm we headed for N facing slopes in the Tatoosh range up at Mt. Rainier. After batteling up the damn snow shoe route from Narada Falls, we hit the stevens canyon road for about 1.5 miles to reflection lakes. From there headed dead south up into the castle and pinnacle peak draws. Gained the ridge line had lunch then continued as far as the pile of snow on the back (south side) of the castle for out 1st descent of the day. Made a few laps on the 18"+consolodated powder and headed for home.
