Mt Scott is the highest Peak in Crater Lake National Park standing at 8850 feet and a separate Volcano from the former Mount Mazama .After sleeping in the Diamond lake parking lot we were able to drive the Car within 3 and a half miles of Mt Scott and had continuous snow from the car. Are plan was to skin up a mellow ridge on the East side all the way to the summit. Drop into the SE bowl that we had seen while driving to Yamsey then skin back up to the ridge and drop into the Northwest bowl. We would take a break there then skin back up to the summit and drop the Eastern face back to the car.
