I've been talking to one of the event organizers about the creation of a splitboard category rather than having us lumped in with the tele skiers. They are totally supportive and psyched to give us our own category as long as we can get at least 10 splitters to commit to the event. That shouldn't be too bad, and I've got talked to about six that are committed already. The organizers would need to know this week if there will be at least 10 splitters (to order the medals in time and such), so either go ahead and register or email (chadbrackelsberg at yahoo dot com) with questions. You can also pm me and I will talk to Chad or my other friend who is involved with the event.
