Looking for a few volunteers to help me dig snow out of the front of Charlie's on Friday afternoon. Will buy endless Rainiers for any helpers. If there's 3 or 4 of us it won't take more than an hour or so. I'll be up there by 3pm at the latest on Friday.
I can probably get in on that, planning on heading up after work Friday (0900 unless I can get the day off) snagging a timberline spring pass (cause i'm lazy and plan on taking the snowcat up Saturday) and riding around on what should be fresh pow (should weather pattern hold true). Should I snag a snow shovel off clearance rack at Target or just use my pack shovel?
Just to make things extra complicated, I gotta be at a Wedding Saturday afternoon... Hoping to make it back down, attend 4pm wedding and back up for the raffle. Any idea on what size the Arbor is? Sadly the Venture Storm is a tad too narrow for my monster boot requirements. Well its maybe 1cm too narrow but I'm pretty self conscious about toe drag already. Pow god knows I need more gear though (and an Abacus would look quite nice next to my Cascade).
Also... If shipping estimate is accurate, I should have 3D (phone) camera capabilities another reason I'm hoping the weather holds out.
Dogan PM me a phone # or I'll just find the jackasses digging out a tavern.

For anyone who wants to car camp / snow cave, I think the rough plan is to post up at Glacier View sno park, across from Ski Bowl. I checked the web site and it did not say anything about overnight camping so I believe we will be ok there.
DO NOT leave anything valuable in sight in your car as some of our crew had their car broken into 2 weekends ago.
Cy'all on Friday! I'll be at Charlies at about 3pm if anyone wants to help shovel out the front and drink some free beers.

Hey all!
The Huckleberry Inn has a 14 bed dorm room that costs $197.50. It might not be fancy, but it would be cheap and right in town! It's available Friday night. Is anyone interested? I'd be happy to reserve it if we could get at least 8 people to commit.
Anyone else interested in the Dorm room? Only 3 people committed as of right now it probably wont get booked without a few more people signing up for it, and Friday is nearly here!

Eric texted me a reminder about this event, I've been kind of out of it this year (this year only? ) Trying to rearrange my schedule so I can get up and help you shovel on Friday. Figure OR splitfest just wouldn't be the same without some suffering for beer!
I got a dorm room at The Huckleberry Inn and there are still beds available! I'll be in gc about 6 tomorrow. My number is 5417288677, text or call if you are interested in bunking up.

ATTN SPLITFEST ATTENDIES: if anyone has any extra mounting hardware, old skins, or plates, please bring them up to Chris and I so we can make sure we have enough boards for everyone! On top of the Venture demos, we will have boards from Rome, Rossignol, and Roxy, but they didn't send any hardware or skins. So anything that you guys can round out up would be greatly appreciated! Super excited for this weekend, its going to be sick!

I think a permit is required to park at the snow parks, correct? That's based on what I read on the MHNF website. Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up.
