there is gonna be some giveaways from next adventure also...maybe some contests to win some prizes?
what kind of swag should i grab for the giveaway?
And Next is also going to buy us some beers also... my boss asked "do you guys think you could get a keg up there?"
sounds like a challenge.
Free beer? of course this can be done. Our great grandparents built the panama fucking canal ... we can drag a keg of beer to the tilly jane cabin. Here's my idea; I show up with my kid's paris toboggan and some webbing, cordage, and rope. Then we lash that thing to however many splitters that it takes to get it up the hill. Those tied in get first beers and revered status. Feel free to improve on this, the important thing is that the beer arrives.
Toward the schwag question, I'd say anything that's useful and not extra weight in the bc would be hella awesome. Then again, whatever you show up with would be bonus!
I can think of lot's of contest opportunities but topping the list I think a beacon search would be relevant and fun.
Big up to the organizers and Next Adventure!

In my storage unit of junk I have a 164cm board that I tried to split (got about 1/3rd when blade dulled and I lost my line), an old external frame pack and some 1x4's. In my mind it screams Keg Sled but I don't have the Space or the Tools to do it. However, if anyone with such things is interested and could meet me in the PDX metro area (I'm S-SW burbs) they can have it and maybe you'll have a lighter weight theme appropriate keg transportation device.
Came up with all sorts of crazy shit thinking about this, attachable skates for road travel, repositionable boards so you can angle them to act as a brake assist for downhills. As with everything it all comes down to money and time.
