Intrigued, mostly cause I'd really like to try those spark bindings. Well and cause I went last year too... keg up Alpine would be pretty easy till you hit timberline boundary, pretty straight forward no killer traverses. Get a smaller keg, I read the last one wasn't even finished off!
Welches is kind of a bummer, I sorta enjoyed the exclusiveness of being stuck on the mountain with 20+ crazies. Understandable though and really whole mountain a day trip from there, definitely plan to check in on you guys. We shall see how long that 2nd weekend timeline holds up this time.

Hah, agreed. Worry not, venue in Welches fell through. Got way better venue up on the mountain in the works. You guys will be stoked. I don't want to announce it until the checks are sent in and everything is locked down and confirmed. Stay tuned...

Got the giveaway board from Venture. It's a Storm 161, looks soooooooo sick. Thanks mucho Lisa, Klem and Jerome! You guys are the best.
Who wants a new Storm? Could be yours, for the price of a raffle ticket. Only 3 bones each, or 4 for $10.
Remember, all raffle proceeds are donated to NWAC, who help keep our hungover asses ALIVE all winter.
Also, we'll be raffling off a set of Sparks (custom one off NWAC logoed!!!!), a Jones pack, a huge box of goodies from Voile, and lots of softgoods donated by the homies at US Outdoor and Next Adventure.
Just a few weeks away now, cy'all at Charlies on Friday night March 8!

For those who are not renting cabins, I'm thinking car camp city in the govy rest area up the street from charlie's. Could be cool with some snow caves too...

That's a 15min only rest stop, I guess you could say you're in the Summit Ski Area parking lot... However it does bring up another good question i've always had. That large area across from Timberline Rd that I often see folks parked in, is that just a chain up area? Also, I frequently see overnight folks parked in the large pull out a short ways up Timberline Rd that I think is the PCT trailhead.

Dogan viable choices?
Good call, I like the option of being off the road a little. I mean, you can sleep in your car anywhere around there as long as it's not a tow zone (just be incog) but it would be cool if we had some area staked out together.
