There was an article about this in Backcountry mag a couple issues ago. From the Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center in Montana, they have videos of tests/analysis in the field. Useful stuff.

Good post.

Those folks are making great use of YouTube.

I especially like all their demos of the ECT, that seems like a promising stability test.
