A group at Montana State is starting a research study, "Understanding Travel Behavior In Avalanche Terrain: A Crowd Sourced Approach"

Basically you email them your GPS tracks with any photos and other info from each tour. You don't actually have to use the Ski Tracks app, they just picked that one for simplicity. Each time you upload info you are registered for some free BD gear too.
