In preparation for an April AK split odyssey, I'm identifying websites that provide reliable information about avalanche, snow pack and weather conditions in the Chugach.
I'm aware of the National Weather Service, Mountain Weather, Chugach National Forest's Avalanche Information Center website, the Hatcher Pass and Valdez Avalanche Centers and the City of Cordova's Avalanche Information website--but I'm wondering if there are additional online resources I should be aware of.
Any suggestions, especially those from frequent tourers in the area, would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Taylor

If you're going out to Thompson pass, grab a copy of matt kinney's guide book from prospector outfitters - priceless.
The bulletin in valdez rarely dips under considerable, though it does have excellent info on the persistent layers, it seems that you're relatively on your own with regards to the specific conditions on your objective that day. Plenty of micro climates up there, many areas that are always blowing, some that never see wind....local assessment is major.
