Me and a couple buddies froms school (skiers) decided to take advantage of the nice spring conditions here in colorado and summit/ride Mt. Quandry just outside of Breckenridge. The trail up was pretty nice, we had a couple guys infront of us leading the way and leaving nice tracks, its only a 3.5 mile treck to the top and 3000 vertical feet roughly. The hard part comes in the last 1/2 mile or so wich is the steepest and hardest part of the whole climb. The ride down was awesome, very good snow conditions in the upper bowl and along the ridge on they way down, particularly considering the lack of fresh snow in the region lately. We kinda go lost in the woods in crappy slushy conditions but ended up making it back to the car in one piece. No pictures yet, I took some video and different pictures, mite add some after I see how it all came out. All in all a very enjoyable day of riding and some beautifull views from the top.
