Started at onion valley campgrond around 9000 feet on saturday. Skined up the drainage towards university peak. Our plan was to climb the back side of In dependance creek and drop into the Pinyon creek drainage but lack of time caused us to contiune up onion creek. Made it to 11,600 before we had to turn back. Great coverage and was able to ski to the truck. Yeah, next sunday or two weeks from now I will return. I will try post pictures later
