i've been dreaming of this for a while. But the foot pads seem to limit your stance. From my surfing experience being able to move your feet up and down the board allow for different weight distribution for different turns. With out the ability to pull up with the front leg, i would want to be able to step back with the front foot to raise the tip above the pow before a turn I've thought about a full no board pad cut in half (matching the rear binding angle, allowing you to slide both pads with no interference) with cored foam underneath that would fit over up hill hardware.

The pads are about 10" across and are mounted centered on your normal stance. So you have play to move your stance a few inches forward or backward of your normal setback. I won't lie, you can't walk to the top and put the toes on the nose with this setup.

yup i saw the venture with the reverse sidecut and it had the almond split pads. dozer has a set and they look pretty dialed. i'll probably buy a pair this year if i can scrape together the coin.
