Catching up on a couple week old TR, here some pics from a quick trip to the eastern sierra South Lake area with jimw, bcd, and sierra souljah.

Let me get this straight, the caboose drops first?

Looks like ya'll are still getting some nice turns down there in the lower 48. The sun and ash combo have turned our mountains to... well, uh, ASH! yeh, rhymes with ash. :cry:

Ya know.......the caboose is an all important role. You have to make sure the folks ahead of you don't get off course or lost. ;) :)

Actually jimw went first in the chute, I just cropped out his tracks. 8)

Yeah, that was a fun day. Made me realize there is other terrain besides Tioga. Well at least until I came to my senses again last weekend. :)

I'll try to get some pics up soon. Especially the one of bcr passing within about 5 feet of those skiiers at Mach 5. Just like the caboose, the one who drops first has an important role as well. In this case, I had to warn the skiiers to take cover!

was wondering how you guys made out on this day.

looks like a pretty good day of riding to me! good shots chris and dan.

you had the right idea to start super early. the conditions really deteriorated quickly after about 2pm up high and turned what would have been fun into not so much fun.
