Yet another beauty day up here in the last frontier, we don't get too many you know. Not any real action shots here, mostly hiking (cause that's what 90% of splitboarding is)...2 to 5 hours of hiking for 5 to 10 minutes of turning.

Anyhow, the start of our hike with our destination hovering above...at the crack of noon of course, none of that 3 to 5am crap here

Gettin closer...

It gets just a little sketchy towards the top

yeh, the hearts pumping here

but the tops right there
Image
the last pitch, feeling safe

celebrating at the top, what a bunch of dorks

Dropping!

ME...STOKED at the bottom

our lines, kinda
Image
partying back at the car!

Well, that's about it. And I apologize again for the lack of "action" shots, but nearly 4000' of vert and I feel it's been another good day in AK!

That looks awesome!
I'm in my hotel room in Fort Nelson B.C. right now.
Hoping to push through to Valdez tomorrow.

Stoked! (except I found out the puppy I'm riding shotgun w/ I'm allergic too. Pretty gay.)

make sure to stop at Liard Hotsprings on the AlCan just as you get into the yukon past muncho lake.

GREAT spot to relax your road weary bones, at least for an hour or so. you can park just off the highway, outside the gate if you get there afterhours.

valdez, you're psyched... we want pics.

So there were 2 groups ahead of us, breaking trail for us that is, who stopped when they came to this. No problem, and thanks for putting a track up to here for us. I guess the early bird eats worms. HAHA

the dot in the center of the photo is a skier, less than 1/4 of the way down, maybe an 1/8

Sh*t, now the photos are sideways! oh well. That was twin peaks, a part of the silvertip massif just south of turnagain pass.

Hope BGnight got that last message in time, because Liard is nice!..and smelly, maybe it'll mask the puppy fur?
