I had last Friday off of work and the hall pass was acquired. I was making plans for a few turns when my better judgement took over. The family needed a mini-vacation.
Off to our friends cabin in Wawona, Yosemite. Friday was snow day.
She found this line on her own.
Saturday was mellow, we just kicked it around the cabin. We threw rocks in the Merced River.
Collected pine cones and acorns.
Walked the skinny.
Flew our butterfly kite.
Did I mention chill?
Don't think I wasn't scoping out lines though. Can't wait to hit this peak up next winter. It's Mt. Raymond. I think the best way to access the peak in winter is to skin through Mariposa Grove--a huge giant sequioa grove at the south entrance to the park. Should be cool. Holler if your interested.
