One storm after an other is hammering Mt. Hood. Lower Heather Canyon was ridiculous deep till Sunday morning...when the crowds from the city came up the mountain. That day I headed up through the woods somewhere else, only 2000' vert., but just by myself, I have seen a shadow moving between the trees, I guess an other friend looking for solitude. Here a coupla pics...

Awesome. Saturday morning I was on the Mt Hood backountry. I snowboarded in waist deep fresh powder. We are definitely receiving some love from the mountain gods here in Oregon and it keeps coming down :D
