Hiked Stevens Peak Sunday and found some crazy lines. Off the sichter scale. No photos yet but we shot lots of video, I'll try to get some posted up soon.
Conditions were 6"-10" fresh, some fast, some fluffy, over edgeable crust.
Mid elevations were better than the tops. N / NE windsheltered exposures were best.

Does anyone know the name of the East-facing main chute that comes down from just under the Summit of Stevens?
Two of my teleskiier friends did it, pretty nuts. Also, anyone know the names of the chutes/area in the basin NW of the main summit of Stevens? We did a bunch of these too, including a tight board-width hallway chute.

Very nice, the snow seems pretty good up there by the looks of your pics. We had planned on going down to the Carson area but stopped at Tallac due to a late start....I think my next time out will be somewhere in that area.
