With the lack of TR's this season, I thought I'd post a few pic's. Things are slowly getting better, and I have been getting out a little.

1/9/07: I was dismissed from jury duty 8), and had the rest of the day off. There had been a decent base, but some warm days and a wicked east wind had scoured off alot of snow.
Kinda thin on the skin up,

This run was ok a couple of days before, but this would not be my run. Dig the grass!

Some of you know my best access is through my ski area. And one of the better wind sheltered runs is the lift cut. This would be my run. A serious mix of hard wind slab, soft pow, crust, made this possibly the most defensive run of my life.

1/22/07:
Snowed like a beeotch on 1/19, then the nasty east wind kicked up and moved the new snow around. 1/22 was nice though, so I hustled up after work.
An upper ridge, hours of skinning away:

I was moving pretty fast, as I only had a couple of hours. This little shot was tasty:

A couple more runs, and it was almost dark. And finally a sublime sunset on the Colorado Plateau:

Sorry no action shots, maybe soon. I'm almost always alone!

I feel your pain rico! Our January in Tahoe was about the same. :(

Still better than nothing though. :)

Hopefully WY will make up for it! 8)
