It's been a while since a Wasatch powder TR has been added so here we go.

Sunday is a great day to tour in the Wasatch, especially in a bad snow season when we luckily received 8â€Â

no seriously, they looked like the real deal...i was especially intrigued on how well they climbed, and how fast the adaptation was from soft to hardboots.

Thats pretty cool,i guess.

Dang! Snow doesn't look too bad there. This really has been a shitty year for the snow world. At least we aint in Europe,i guess. Maybe it'll go out like a lion. Or a liger!!

Looks like the Wasatch snow is better than the Bear's. We are battling wicked crusts and serious rot right now, and have been almost all winter.

Snow looks pretty good.

But what's up with the extreme poleboarding technique ???

That's quite geey....... especially if you are riding pow.

Well, if you don't know then you have a lot to learn.

There are many times when it is a good idea to ride with poles, plus it helps fend off the vicious tele and AT skiers we have here in UT.

You're in CO, I suggest you go to Silverton if you haven't already and get Aaron (the owner) as your guide. He boards with poles and kills it.

 Funny report, as usual UB! The coke-aye-ain-ya comment made me laugh. I'm sure it felt better coming out than it did going down. Riding with poles may work well, but it sure looks kooky. Love this shot:

Good point. But technically it's still a bad year for UT, it just sucks more for others.

The Thrillhead crew will be out here this weekend and maybe part of next week, they'll let you know how bad it truely is. I can assure you they will not get turns like the ones posted above. No new snow until Feb. they say. But they may get some sweet chutes and stuff.
