so I finally got my ass in gear and got out this weekend. I was gonna get a nice couloir up beehive, but my dog disagreed(would've been skiable but he was not doing good.) So determined to ski a decent line I went to Blackmore the next day(sat). BH and I headed out early enough to beat the bootpackers(and everyone else) and waited around for a buddy who we were supposed to meet. We wound up hooking up on the ridge and skiing a nice line for october. Here are some pics:
I swear we got an early start!
then we came across this! Damn AT'ers
October eh?
A hippy and his dog
so how do ya think the snow is?
Dan graciously volunteers to cut the slope
Bh droppin next
looking back at our line before hittin a nice run on our way out
It was a great october day and hopefully they keep coming(if not togwotee here I come)

Early is a relative term, based on the sun angles in those last pics I would say you guys are taking advantage of that. Way to use the english language to your advantage. Looks a lot better at the resivior than I would have expected, and the bowl, ridge for that matter. Hope it keeps up 'til I get there.
