I remember this area from past TRs. Definitely a cool place to be, it's been added to the places I'd like to visit.

No way, what a small world.

I know Mike P and Perry. Mike was the first guy I met when I moved to Bozy 7 years ago - he was hitch hiking up to Fairy Lake after a mtb ride gone wrong - and we stayed friends until he moved to Bellingham. The last I heard from him he was considering going back to SD to do real estate appraisals but I doubt that's the case.

I met Perry through Mike and rode in Perry's Dakota 5-0 mtb race for a few seasons. Those are some great guys. Hope to see them again sometime.

Sorry guys, i don't know perry or any of those guys. You're thinking of the wrong guy.

The drop wasn't that bad, 15 to 20ft. the exopsure scared me so i hip checked to scrub a little speed.

Some TGR folks were near you guys and caught a couple of your lines. Gnarly slab at the beginning of nomad's line. :shock:

Actually, my line was somewhat further left and Jud's line was further right. I definitely generated some sluff but no slabs.

There would be some serious consequences for getting caught in that terrain...

dtimms - let me know when you want to get out there! Good weather is necessary for doing the hairier stuff, but fun can usually be had.
