GaperTimmy and I took the sled out to Todd Lake area just beyond Mt Bachy. Avy danger is still pretty high so the trees were the safe bet. Arrived super early at the snowpark with amazing lighting all around the mountains. Light wind and high overcast with great visability.
Withing 10 minutes sled is parked, skins are on and we begin the chill glide out to Todd Lake. Skin track is already in and we charge up to the top of the butte. Proceed to rip and shred 18-24" of untracked pow down to the lake. Short but steep tree runs. Over and over until the lungs and legs are running out of gas. Really cool easily accessible area. I'll be back.
Sorry guys, forgot the camera. It's about time some Oregon splitter started posting the love. Bachy's got 100+ inches at the base!
