This thread has been awesome, thanks for all the photos and videos. I'm planning a trip for my gf and I to Japan next year. Where to start!?

You're welcome to pm me if you have any questions.
some costs for those interested in how I spent 50 days in Japan.
all in AUD
car hire $2910
guiding $1500
petrol $700 (4500kms driven)
tolls $200 guess will see tonight.
lift tickets $780 (could easily have spent $0 here and if I were to do it again, I'd probably do this)
food $1300

Oz...Trying to figure out if Jeff Gordon was your video editor for that last vid...Or..You took a bunch of mushrooms and TRIPP'D THE FOKK OUT, MENG! while doing that video...good jamz tho'.

You really could have saved yourself 1900AUS dollars....Get out that map and compass...and start hiking.

Thanks for the beta on that trip...looking to go to Hoikkado next winter.
