Well, last day off for the week and the high pressure is holding. My old and tired body on the other hand, not so much. But with age comes wisdom they say, and I say it's time to cheat!!!

The high pressure continues and somehow or another the snow still holds. Time for another new line in the backyard/Chugach. Went out with the usual suspects as well as one old friend whom I haven't seen since this: http://splitboard.com/talk/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=6777.

The hike started out a little nasty


but turned to a nice stroll a little further up

so we split back into 2 smaller groups and made it to the bottom safely and happy to be alive

Fun circumnavigation of our local resort, time for a refresh

Hey everyone,
I'm hoping to drive up to alaska in may and spend most of the month splitboarding in ak. Any of you willing to add one more splitter to your group? Been living and splitboarding the mountains in the eastern sierra out of mammoth lakes for the past 2 years and am hoping to get on some bigger mountains and better snow.

If I'm around and there's snow on the ground, I'm down. PM me and/or give me a ring as the time gets near. That goes for anyone and everyone on here. We'll start "small" and go from there.
