Decided to head back to Rainier with Epicpow to take advantage of the early season snow. We were stopped at the gate at 8am and got through around 9:30. After dealing with a little route finding issues in a white out around pebble creek, Lisa, Zack, David, Pete and myself skinned to around 9000' and decided to stop short of camp muir. The weather partially cleared on the way down. Snow was wind buffed up on the snowfield with waist deep drifts, and still rocky down below panorama point. Found some buried treasures, but luckily no core shots. Epicpow was on a loner, because Nick at Snoco is splitting his board...Nicks not gonna be too happy when he gets his loner back
Still can't complain about powder turns in October!
