Very nice, cute kids. My boys are 7 and 5 and I'm finding the older they get the more and more cool stuff we get to do. So far it's been lots of car camping, resort skiing, and gym climbing. We just did our first outdoor climb last weekend for Father's Day, it was awesome. I'm hoping this winter or maybe next, to do a mellow yurt trip with the family. We might try a couple of shorter backpacking trips this summer as well. Keep up the good work! It definitely takes extra time, energy, and money to include the kids in these activities but it sure is worth it.

Hey Chris---We started from the Pacific Crest TH at Ebbett's Pass. We hiked north a few miles and camped at Upper Kinney Lake. There are several small lake/ponds along the way too. Pretty mellow hike--perfect for kids since there's no brutal uphills.
