the potential of this community to inspire and motivate is priceless. having been shut down the last 7 weeks from health issues, your stories have helped keep the fire burning. thanks to all who contribute! keep getting the job done and fueling others stoke! you might be surprised what motivation can result from just a simple TR.
thanks also to a very good friend for the lift access pow days. never has rehab been so fun.
with the legs feeling strong again and some additional snowfall, it was time to get back out there.
bridgeport seemed to have some great conditions and i haven't been in horse creek canyon for many years.

it was pretty steep and lots of fun to be in there

just after this shot, i dropped my camera and watched it tumble and slide for around 600 feet. nothing to do but keep going and pick it up on the descent. so no more shots for this day. great winter pow in the chute and an amazing run down to the secondary in earlier pics. which turned out to have good pow as well. better than expected! a long day for a weak, old man. but just what i needed. the camera survived too! stoked!
i hope this TR does for others what yours have done for me, light the fire in the eyes of those who look.

thanks for the eastside stoke. we went up that way last year but due to a prolonged morning soak in the hot springs down the hill, we got up to the bottom of the matterhorn late in the day. snow was getting super wet and rollerballs everywhere. we rode from the spire down as a consulation prize. I'm pretty fired up to get back that way and get the line you did or ski dreams. Beautiful area for sure!
