Snow was thin unless it was on the N/NW aspects and high. Skiing off the South would be impossible in those conditions and the East would have been dicey. However, all that may be changing as we speak. We hit that open NW shot pictured and then traversed SW back to the ridge b/c the run funnels you into a creek. After traversing back to the ridge we were able to get some decent low angle turns but with significant difficulty (closer to the bottom) to the road and back to the fork just past Ophir w/o unstrapping. That road is well covered and heavily snowmobile traveled.
