i was pretty stoked when i saw the forecast, even more so when i heard it had motivated brooks to pay a visit to my new home range.
after numerous tours that started with hours of hiking, it was nice to put skins on at the car. even the obvious danger described by this sign couldn't keep us from the skin track!
some dangers are more obvious than others...
i think i'm going to like this mountain.
not too far away, at the karakoram factory, i had the honor of watching the first-sold pair of superlight bindings being mounted on brooks' board
i may have missed the saturday fustercluck while i was frantically cooking and wrenching in preparation for a thanksgiving road trip, but the gaper clean up crew was at work on sunday...

That bed surface we created was just as much fun to ride as the pow! Dude, I love that toe side shot. Your little camera rocks! Wish I would have made the 3rd day damn it, but sounds like you guys were in powerskin mode.
snowsavage! I just checked out your AK tr. Good to see you gettin' phat pow too! Cali is being very lame so far but we always get huge dumps around Xmas so nothing to worry about.
Tex, 13.5 hours from Reno to Seattle (1.5 hours was the last 40 miles due to traffic!) So from San Diego to Baker probably like 20 hours? Gogogogo!
