TThanks bc only been out once this year. Makes me feel like come on dammit i'm tired of 22deg mornings with no snow. Any ways my bday is in august and that looks like fun could use a little youth. mind out of gutter. PS the wood is holding snow.
Makes me feel just that much older though. I just hit 4-0 in Feb. and my daughter is only 9 months old. That means I'll be hitting 55 when I wanna do something comparable with her.

Chris, do you think this might still hold snow in late June this year? I was up on mt rose over the weekend and while coverage wasn't great by any stretch, there's still snow in the spots that hold it - hourglass was looking not too shabby, and from Kings Beach the west shore looked well covered still up high. Anyway, I have a couple of free days toward the end of the month and have probably looked at your photos 100x and really itching to find that. Im gettin old, man.

EM, based on a recent pic I saw I'd say your timing should be ok. There is still a decent amount of snow on the range out there. The ideal timing is when the summer trail is clear of snow (currently 75%ish), but there is still some snow on the range so you dont have to walk back down to aloha after hitting the pond. If you go too soon there just wont be much water in the pond. Skyler and I are heading out tomorrow to check it out so I should have some more beta soon.
