fustercluck and I had a fun little time in my new favorite slackcountry spot. This is a really fun zone and every time I go back there I get new ideas and new goals even though there's finite terrain. A great zone that one can session on a splitboard via resort access (or without) a lot of different ways.
(lost too much speed on the last cornice air maybe one of the best natural airs around. gotta go back and go huuuuge!!! )
Dude that area looks fun as hell... besides the nice crown, but never the less.... air freeekin city!

That location is in .....your mom's room!
Don't cave BG, that zone rules, and has way too easy of access for how few people hit it!
edit: just watched your footage, the beginning 10 seconds needs editing for fear of bean spilling. (cinder cone makes a great little mini slackcountry tour out of this zone btw)

snowskate: lol i vowed not to do anymore pov/tr's of local terrain (especially on TGR...too many beta seeking, skier kooks there!) cuz im old, curmudgeonly, bitter, and hate people (forgot I put the name of it in the title, fuuuck!). This spot is well known however but amazingly it's still gets very little use the first couple days after a storm for how close to a resort it is. It will get hammered by skiers eventually and sledders who highmark some of the best runouts. It's hit and miss with them. I don't mind sledders accessing ski terrain and doing laps. I would love to join em. What I hate is slednecks highmarking and fucking up all the good ridable terrain....ok I just started ranting outta nowhere.
Oh, it's in TAHOE!! And it's all short and a pita to session without a sled or pass so don't bother.

^^^You forgot to mention it gets sunbaked, and there's a couple passes you have to climb over to get there, both of which are guarded by grizzly bears. But I still might be there tomorrow.

Dude, epic. Your helmet cam stuff has been superb. I finally figured mine out. Between exposure issues, trying different recording settings, mount issues and general user error idiocy, it only took me 2 years.
Way to not blow up the spot. With a nod to Amkaplan, everyone else needs to stop using these trs for poaching and start using em for stoking the fire! You wanna go? Ask Brooks if he'll SHOW YOU!
(sorry, I've noticed some of my fav spots are more crowded this year. It's the same drill, too many people to few resources )
