For the last 2-3 weeks whenever I try to log in to SB.com on my iPhone it logs me in and then immediately reloads and logs me out. Always worked for me before. This happening to anyone else or is it a problem on my end?

iPhone 4S running iOS 5.1

Thanks

After loading the new operating system I had some issues with the web, not specifically this site though. Nothing a reboot didn't fix!

sorry as this may sound retarded, but close Safari and reopen(double click home button to open 'app killer' and close it that way) then try again

IrishGav- I had tried that too and it didn't work.

I did fix the problem though!
Settings --> Safari --> Clear Cookies and Data

Seems to work just fine now. Thanks for your help though guys. Had no other problems on the phone so I assumed it was something with SB.com.

Ahhh yes..those delicious cookies. Any who, glad its working.
I have an app question. What is the best gps app?
Just returned to all trails to give that another go as the trimble outdoors/backpacker apps are just getting shotty and unreliable. What are you all using?
Also FYI, I have a cool app called theolite which is a compass ,altimeter and also a slope meter, which is supposed to be accurate to .1 degree.

I've been running MotionX-GPS every time I do a tour to a new zone. It tends to chew through the battery pretty good, so I shut off all the extra features & just let it run. Mark way points, huts, etc... when I need 'em. Nice to be able to pull out the phone and go 'I am here & where I want to be is over there'. Wouldn't rely on it though, can't kill the battery on a map & compass.

I agree that the app is nice to have for waypoints, etc. Its also a great way to keep a log of favorite trips to show to my emergency contacts via email. I too never venture without a map and compass, and I've read articles where the writers are replacing maps, compasses and cameras with ipads to cut down weight. I think this is absurd advice. Thanks, gonna check out motionx.

Well, a map & compass weighs next to nothing & is not worth ditching. Though I do find I've been leaving my Canon at home more often. It's also kinda nice in a weird way to be able to send picture to my dad of the sunrise breaking the ridge tops directly from the skin track.

Any chance of this forum becoming Tapatalk supported?

+1 for Tapatalk support.

Backcountry Navigator is good on Android.
MotionX GPS is is good on iPhone.
Both chew through the battery though.

Sorry for the thread drifts but anyone have any thoughts on ditching the phpbb software the forum currently runs on and going to a more robust forum software like vBulletin?
