Its crazy what some guys are doing on sleds. I think most of those super steeps are being climbed with nitrous injection tho....not like your box/stock sled is gonna climb that stuff. Definitely not my 1987 Exciter :nononno:

Just strictly as an approach rig this sure has my interest - I'm curious if anyone else has used one - knows the goods & bads of them

Specially springtime 8 mile intermittent snow>bare approaches

Lew, I think you'd go all over w/ those tracks on your quad. I think they are really expensive though...

mat tracks or something along that name is one brand I've heard of. Some of the newer sleds are less than 3lbs/hp...pretty wild
but a lot of the sleds in these videos where the guy is hillclimbing, are BOOSTED...turbo's.
