Hi SoCal splitters,

I'm headed to SD Sunday to work next week in Escondido. I have Sunday afternoon/evening and a rental car, so I'm looking to kill some time in SD.

I'd like to hang at the beach, take some photos, etc., but which one? I thought about buying a surf lesson, but I'll probably get there too late and be too rushed to enjoy it. Maybe body boarding?

Sooooo...
What other things would you recommend for an afternoon/evening? Restaurants, any good microbrews, etc? (OMG I just realized Stone is there!!!!! Sweet!)
