I need help - I put Bent Metal Biscuit binding parts on my Ignition IIs. The ankle strap went missing, presumably because the screw loosened.

I can't find a replacement ankle strap (and accompanying hardware). It's not available on the Sparks R&D website. I called and left messages but haven't heard from anyone. Tried again today, and this time tried Will's number but he's out of the country until mid February.

SO - i guess at this point, I need ideas on where to procure the necessary hardware so that I can jam my Burton ankle strap on there instead. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

The hardware store maybe?

tried using a regular machine head screw with loctite. that loosened and fell out as well - but thankfully on the skin out of Carson Pass.

so is there a special screw/nut/washer, blah blah that someone knows works and is bomberproof?

Perhaps a nylon nut. That's what Bent Metal uses and I haven't had a problem with mine ever loosening. If that doesn't help, pack spares and a wrench I guess.
