Overtightening will strip out the holes but in this situation is a scapegoat for that type of failure imho.

It broke because its aluminum and aluminum cracks when subject to repeated stress. It broke right at the weakest point, needs to be beefier if its gonna be a light brittle metal like aluminum.

i think the guy is not stupid - he must youse his brain for the sensible light wight parts ore he must pay the price of crashed part s.

Burton/Markus I like your works and I know you're a great expert of materials

but there is a fact:
- with voilè brackests I've done about 150 trips, in all conditions, also little descents, without any probelm
- with spark brackets I've done about 7-8 trips, ok... 3-4 in heavy conditions, and they crashed as you saw....

is there a cause for this fact?

I got screws as well. some of these posts are a little weird... I feel like chrome is translating from "english" to "brain damaged."
