I noticed one of the bushings on my Fuse binding is worn and kind of cracked. When I say kind of cracked.. I mean.. a part of it looks like a hang nail, and can just be torn or cut off (although I've refrained from doing this right now).
Has anyone replaced their bushings? I figure if I'm doing one, I might as well do them all. I'm definitely noticing my pins sliding back and forth a looot easier in tour mode and in ride mode. They move around quite a bit even when I'd prefer they dont.
If someone has replaced their bushings.. any tips on how to do it? Size of bushings? I was thinking of hunting for some parts at my local bikeshop as i know its a common part used on bikes. Whether or not I can find the right size is another issue. Anyone been able to find some from anywhere else? Any help or tips are appreciated.
email Spark. I emailed them on Wednesday or Thursday and got my replacement ones in the mail today. One of my buddies did his last week. Not sure what all is in the kit, but I think it is everything you need.
edit to add that they send everything from drill bits to bore out the bushing with, to glue, to an extra bushing and detailed instructions. Spark rocks!
