Any tips or what is the best method? I am looking at shipping a split over there and fedex wants $350. Plus Id imagine he would have to pay customs on top of that?
Try ground/port shipping, i think its still $180+ though and 6 weeks. International shipping rates are a joke. Maybe you can bring in a few boards and sell them.

Send tr_nz a message. I know he imported a Never Summer split from the US. Can't remember how much it cost him to ship it out here to NZ but it did take a hell of a while to get out here.

HikeforTurns I import Boards to Australia New and Second hand and on average they are about AUD$100 about USD$100. Use a freight forwarder and they will sort it out for you. As long as the goods + shipping are not worth more than $1000 you dont pay Duty or GST. Let me know if you need any help.
