Yo dude, I have a contour and rep the helmet mount. The angle I use is on the side of my helmet closer to eye level. I just throw that bitch in wide angle and try to point it wear wear my eyes will look.

If you have the GPS model there's free app to use on your phone that lets you connect via bluetooth and turn your phone into a viewfinder. You need to upgrade to the lastest firmware and get bluetooth code from Contour and that's you. Should make life a lot easier.
