you know if you were a better salesman I would have bought the Burton stuff!! Really still on the fence, but all signs are leading me to the conversion. My landlord/friend here in Bend has told me if I need a dremmel tool to buy one and take it off the rent. There is also one other person I am going to call in AK to get their opinion/support.
I will be contacting you as well when I get the project laid out in front of me and don't know what the heck to do... Thanks...happy turns, jw

you know, you are right the burton stuff would have been an easy sale, but you would have gotten frustrated with the system again and converted to tele or AT like everyone else. "Surfing snow cannot be felt on skis only on a snowboard. Happy to keep you soulful. Kevan P.S. hook up with a good backcountry shop around there and get with any local splitters to see if they have done the conversion. it is a process but time vs money i think it is worth it. check all the posts for the templates and ideas people have done. The T-bolt vs Fabrication of adapters for the burton is the big choice so check it out and have fun..............................oh yeah $50.00 for the burton crap+shipping!

Hey, remember me, the girl that didn't buy your burton parts? i just wanted to say thanks man. I followed your advice and did the work to my splitboard (all by myself!!) I just finished up an epic trip to the Teton pass. I am now in route back to AK with my new setup. Cheers! Jill
