Monk 151, edge inlay too, fantastic. I'll keep track of your work, I might be looking for a smaller spring conditions board in time. These are looking very nice!

Monk151, what do you think she woudl say if I bought a board big enough for her to use in POW and small enough to work for me in spring? Tempting thought!

Can you inlay edges into any DIY board?

i think she would say you're using her as an excuse to buy another board for yourself.....

what size board would be good for the two of you?

....about the DIY inlay - it's typically a much 'easier' process and cleaner look if I put the edges on before I put the hardware on, but I can definitely put edges on an already cut n' drilled split.

Her POW board is a 153. My smallest board is a 162. I'm sure that getting one for her would be the only smart decision.

I'd be more than happy to put something together for her... even better - one for each of you

If you have an idea for a deck just give me the word -

Maybe when the tax man cometh. I have actually been looking for a tiny split for her. She'd be pissed if I got her one saying she won't use it. I can't wait until she finishes her MBA (three classes) and retires from the Navy (20 fun filled years) and maybe we can ride together again like we did over a decade ago when we met and rode just about anything with snow. (hopeless romantic, right). I'll keep you posted on the travels of the tax man.

I've seen most of Monk151's splits first hand and I must say he is an excellent craftsman. He's a hell of shredder too.

I've been able to "test" some of his O'sins 8) and they are money :thatrocks:

That NS Summit would be mine if I wasn't saving up for a damn wedding :x
