Rode this board perhaps 10 or 15 times last season lightly, it's in
excellent shape. The Zephyr would probably make a nice DIY split if
you choose or simply a great in area/OB board. Venture makes very
solid, damp, big mountain rides with "Never Summer" durability
construction.

I think I rode the zephyr last year, and I didn't find it to be anywhere near as damped as the NS or prior boards I rode. Not a bad board at all, but it threw me around on the chopped-up stuff. I would say that this is a great board for "pop".
